The Russa (Russian) G.E. electric locomotive, #6451. All locomotives of this kind now are stranded at Triagem Paulista, near Bauru, out of service. Their preservation is uncertain, although there are rumours of some iniciatives in Brazil and by the The Friends of the South Cle Elum Depot, a group in the northwestern United States working to create a museum devoted to the Milwaukee Railroad electrification. As is known, the Russa locomotive is almost identical to the American Little Joes that run at The Milwaukee Railroad. This photo is courtesy of Ricardo Frontera, from Bauru SP, and it was taken in July 1998.
