One of the first electric box locomotives supplied by General Electric to Companhia Paulista. Note the interesting livery of this locomotive, with its "C.P." legend written in big capital letters. This livery can be seen in photos present in old papers from the G.E. technical magazine; this fact apparently indicates that this is the original factory livery of this locomotive. Afterwards this locomotive was given a new livery, then receiving the legendary CP symbol. Photo shot by Manoel Penteado, probably in the 1920s; this copy was kindly supplied by his grandson, José Antonio Penteado Vignoli, from São Paulo SP.
