An ALCO PA2 diesel-electric locomotive, exposed here at the FEPASA museum, in Jundiaí. Unfortunately, as this locomotive was not protected by a shed, corrosion has taken its toll. Its nickname was Jaburú, a Brazilian big bird also known as Tuiuiú. Does somebody know why? Another photo of this locomotive, still in operation, can be seen at the FEPASA page. This photo, taken by Henrique Coelho in 1981, was extracted from the Companhia Paulista Page at the ALCO World.
